WHS Band, Cheerleaders receive Donations at Bank Tailgate

The WHS Band and Cheerleaders provided entertainment at the Bank’s recent Chambers After Hours tailgate picnic.

On behalf of Town & Country Bank, Scott Huedepohl, President presented a check to the WHS Band and Cheerleaders last Thursday night. The students performed before a crowd of tailgaters at the recent Chamber Business After Hours hosted by Town & Country Bank. Upon accepting the check for the band, Duane Roberson, WHS Band Director, thanked Town& Country Bank and announced that the Bank’s donation will be matched 2 for 1. In total, with the match, the Bank’s donation represents $1,500 towards new band uniforms, he said. The 140 member WHS Band is busy
rehearsing its all new fall show featuring all new tunes set to
debut at upcoming WHS football games.

Town & Country Bank, the only bank headquartered in the Watertown, focuses its efforts on supporting the school arts and sports programs. “The future of Watertown is in the hands of these great kids,” said Huedepohl. “We know that any investment today’s school programs will reap unbelievable returns as these students are prepared to take
leadership roles in this community and greater society.”
